Ms. Alicia always opens the door and greets the kids with the warmest, most loving smile. The primary and assistant teachers consistently go above and beyond, treating the children with so much respect, care, and love. From the toddler program to the primary class, our boys have loved their teachers and their school experience. They have grown so much during their time here, and we are incredibly thankful to Ms. T, Ms. Rashmi, Ms. Lida, Ms. Mumtaz (retired), and Ms. Afsaneh for the positive impact they’ve had on our children’s lives. Ms. Alicia is very approachable, always helpful, and readily available whenever support is needed. They plan amazing events throughout the year to celebrate moms and dads, and all cultural holidays throughout the year. These events are so fun and well planned, and we love to go watch our kids perform. It truly feels like a family here and a second home for our kids. Words are not enough to express how grateful we are to have been part of such a wonderful MSoC family! P.S. Bonus - they offer date nights for parents several times a year, which is perfect to get some alone time for parents, while kids have fun-filled evening with Ms. Emely and Ms. Alicia!

Montessori School objective was to establish early intervention and guidance of yoga practice which will benefit the preschoolers as they develop levels of focus and stillness. A child in this school for sure will get ahead in life in mostly every task they under take. Not to forget improving their physical strength and flexibility. Today I teach at Montessori school of Chantilly as the yoga teacher and I’m excited about the student’s eagerness and enthusiasm to take their Monday yoga practice as they find it relaxing and fun before dismissal. This is one great package of learning and exposure for all kids - no a-la-carte confusing pricing or wait lists like other schools.The teachers are Montessori trained. They each have the autonomy to set up their own classrooms, and design their own lesson plans. Having experienced national-chain curriculum in the past, I vastly prefer this teacher-driven environment. There are also always plenty of loving and skilled caregivers, between teachers and assistants, to ensure the children's safety and comfort. Both of our boys grew leaps and bounds in the time they were at Montessori School of Chantilly. Their teachers recognized their unique strengths, and appealed to them in ways that encouraged them to stretch. I also loved the way our kids talked about what they did at school and showed us their new skills. My 5yo designed a living-room obstacle course to mimic the "Jump Bunch" they had at school, and my 2yo brought home lots of sweet songs. Afterwards, they transitioned seamlessly into FCPS.Our children loved the Specials (yoga, sports, Spanish), the special events (Lunar New Year, Mothers Day and Fathers Day, Diwali, pumpkin patch, to name a few), and all of the songs, art projects, sewing, and on and on. The Montessori curriculum is wonderful here, and the teachers are outstanding. The children are well-supported academically and emotionally, and they are given the tools they need to navigate their world at school and beyond.The Montessori School of Chantilly is a very special place, and it was a privilege to have sent our children here. The things our children learned about themselves and the world will last a lifetime.
